“I have towed my boat 4000 miles on these bunks and launched and retrieved approximately 50 times so far with no signs of any wear. I was concerned about the bunks being slippery, since one of my boats slid off the original carpeted bunks, but these bunks are not slippery at all and the boat stays put with no sliding. “Well here it was, time to replace those rotted out bunk boards. All I could think about was trying to find good wood, cutting it to size, get new SS nuts and bolts, getting new SS staples buy new carpet cut it to size then go to work, but then I heard about a new product called TUFF BUNK wow what an idea so I thought why not give them a try especially since they are already special coated (no wet soggy carpet), no cutting, no staples, no mess so I purchased a set of four.
